Cwgordon7 Notes on Drupal, testing, and open source

Work and collaboration

What this notebook offers

This site is a personal notebook. No commercial services are offered through it. There is no shop, no package list, and no retainer agreement hiding behind the pages.

What does exist is a long running interest in a few areas. If your question touches one of them, the contact form is the right place to start.

Useful conversations

  • Testing practice: planning a suite, making failures readable, and building a habit of checking.
  • Content tool design: editing forms, text filters, and shared page workflows.
  • Community programs: newcomer paths, review capacity, and youth participation.
  • Technical writing: turning a complicated internal explanation into a page someone can follow.

What to expect

This is not a support desk. Messages are read when there is time, and a reply is not guaranteed. A specific question with a link and a short description of the context is far easier to answer than a general request for help.

If you are a student working on a project, say so and describe what you have already tried. That is usually enough to make the question useful.

Elsewhere

For the software itself, the Drupal project and its documentation are the right first stop. For web platform details, the MDN web docs are consistently reliable.

Have a specific question?

Send the context, the link, and what you have already tried. Specific messages get better answers.
